Technical SEO Audit & Fixes

An audit, and then the fixes. Not a PDF you file away.

A full technical audit — crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, hreflang — delivered as a prioritised list with the fixes implemented, not just recommended. Most audits fail because nobody does the work afterwards; here that work is the deliverable.

Typical timeline: 2–4 weeks for audit and first-round fixes

When this is the right call

Problems this solves

In the words people actually use when they get in touch, rather than in the words the technology uses.

  • Traffic dropped and nobody can say why
  • Pages are published and never indexed
  • A previous audit produced a forty-page PDF and no change in rankings
  • A migration went wrong and rankings did not come back

Deliverables

What you get

  • A prioritised audit — impact and effort per issue, not a flat list
  • The fixes implemented, in your codebase or CMS
  • Before-and-after measurements on the metrics that moved
  • Structured data implemented and validated
  • A short document of what changed and why

Approach

How it is built

  • Indexation before rankings — a page that is not indexed cannot rank, and this is the most commonly missed cause
  • Core Web Vitals fixed at the cause, not padded with a caching plugin
  • Structured data that matches visible content, because mismatched schema is a manual-action risk
  • Internal linking treated as a ranking asset rather than navigation furniture

Process

How it runs

  1. 1

    Crawl and measure

Full crawl, Search Console, Core Web Vitals, log data where available.

  2. 2

    Prioritise

Ranked by expected impact against effort. The top five usually matter more than the other fifty.

  3. 3

    Fix

    Implemented, not recommended.

  4. 4

    Validate

    Re-crawl, re-test, confirm indexation.

  5. 5

    Report

What changed, what moved, what to watch.

What it costs

Scope and price agreed on a short call — no obligation, and you get a written figure before anything starts.

What I need from you

  • Search Console and analytics access
  • Repository or CMS access for the fixes
  • A staging environment if changes need review before going live
  • Server log access, if you want crawl-budget analysis

Not included

  • Link building, link buying or anything that risks a penalty
  • Content writing at volume (I will brief it; writing it is separate)
  • Ranking guarantees — nobody can honestly offer those
  • Paid tool licences

Technical SEO Audit & Fixes — questions people ask

Do you implement the fixes or just list them?

Implement. An audit that ends at a document is where most of the value is lost, because the fixes need someone who understands both SEO and the codebase.

Will rankings improve?

Technical fixes remove the reasons a page cannot rank; they do not manufacture demand or authority. I will tell you at the audit stage whether your problem is technical, and if it is not, I will say that too.

Can you work on a WordPress site?

Yes — see WordPress Support, which often runs alongside this.

What about Core Web Vitals?

Measured, diagnosed and fixed at the cause. This site prerenders roughly 2,900 pages and its own vitals work is documented in the repository.

How large a site can you audit?

Large sites are fine, and are where log analysis and crawl budget start to matter. Scope is agreed against page count up front.

Do you handle migrations?

Yes, and the pre-migration mapping is where the work actually is. Involve me before the launch date, not after.

You get a written figure and a scope before anything begins. If this is not the right service for the problem, I will say which one is — or that none of them are.

Roughly what you have already, what a good outcome looks like, and any budget or deadline you are working to — that is enough for a first reply with a real figure in it.
