About the Image Tools
NKable's image tools handle the four jobs that come up before an image goes anywhere: converting between JPG, PNG and WebP, resizing to exact dimensions, compressing to a smaller file, and rasterising SVG to PNG for places that will not accept vectors.
These image tools exist for the moment an image is nearly right but the wrong format, the wrong size or too heavy. An upload form that only takes JPG, a CMS with a 2 MB limit, a logo that needs to be a PNG for an email signature, or a hero photo slowing a page down.
Conversion covers JPG, PNG and WebP, which is the practical set for the web — WebP for size, JPG for photographs, PNG when transparency matters. Resizing keeps aspect ratio by default so nothing stretches, and compression targets file size while keeping the image acceptable at normal viewing size.
